The Board, management and Staff of RISE NETWORKS would like to sincerely thank the Ford Foundation Team of Mr. Paul Nwulu – Program Officer and Mrs Joy Ehinor-Esezobor – Program Assistant, led by the Ford Foundation West Africa Representative, Mr. Innocent Chukwuma for making out time to meet with the Board and Staff of Rise Networks.
FORD Foundation, one of the World’s most prominent and impact driven Donor Organizations committed to Social Good and renowned for its support for visionary leaders and organizations on the frontlines of social change worldwide paid a working visit to RISE Networks’ Office in Lagos recently.
This Meeting which was quite illuminating and engaging underscored the important work and efforts of RISE Networks, as a Social Enterprise poised to address vital human capital development needs that have limited the ability of Nigerian youths in accessing and creating Jobs while providing practical knowledge cum skill driven youth development across Nigeria.
It also highlighted possible areas of Collaboration between FORD FOUNDATION and Rise Networks with significant emphasis on some of the cardinal objectives of Ford Foundation which are Youth Learning & Opportunity and expanding livelihood opportunities for poor households based on the project interests of FORD Foundation as stated in their priorities for the West African region.
We are excited about the prospects of future collaboration with Ford Foundation and we hope that an imminent Partnership that will kick start several levels of progress, development and impact for more Nigerian Young People through our collaborative efforts is in the offing.
