Oluwabusola Majekodunmi is a driven, creative and results-oriented lady with experience working and volunteering as a teacher, life coach and student counselor. Busola has an MSc. in Management and Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She graduated with a first-class honours in Economics from the University of Birmingham. In 2006, she was the best student in Nigeria and West Africa in the West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations.

As an education enthusiast, her long term goal and aspiration is to provide quality, relevant and innovative education for African children. She is a 2016 Mandela Washington Fellow and a member of the Harambe Entrepreneur Alliance. She is also co-founder of Shuttlers, a bus-pooling service for professionals in metropolitan cities in Africa. Busola also had a stint as an experienced tax professional with Deloitte Nigeria, where she worked with her team to deliver top-notch tax planning and compliance services.

Busola has always wanted to work with children and young adults and fill what was missing currently in their education as she later got the opportunity to fill hers after getting a scholarship to study abroad but she recognises that not all youths would have access to such an opportunity as hers. Hence, the focus of her work has been providing, leadership, entrepreneurship and technology education for teens.

This led first to the creation of Teen Leadership Sessions, then Beyond Education Workshops and now our registered social enterprise, Steering for Greatness Foundation, because she strongly believes every child deserves to be great and the greatness within them can be awoken.
