5 Places To Get Data Science Jobs

The ‘Sexiest Job of the Twenty-First Century,’ according to the Harvard Business Review, is being a ‘Data Scientist.’ why not? Every digital disruption is the creation of a data scientist, and their rising demand attracts high salaries. According to AIM Research, prominent Indian organizations have adopted analytics and data science at a rate of 74.5 per cent. In October of last year, there were a whopping 93,500 analytics jobs available in India alone!

Finding the appropriate opportunity at the right time, on the other hand, isn’t always straightforward. GitHub said earlier this year that it was going to close down its jobs portal, which was a one-stop platform for IT organizations looking for machine learning programmers and engineers. This is why we’ve compiled a list of the best job boards for data scientists:

LinkedIn

LinkedIn, which is owned by Microsoft and based in California, has been the go-to location for all job search and business culture-related issues since its inception in 2003. A typical job search on a job portal website will turn up over 20,000 data scientist positions in India alone. LinkedIn assists users with professional networking, employers in keeping track of possible applicants, and users in sharing resumes and having conversations with hiring managers and recruiters even when they are not finding the proper chances.

Stack Overflow

Stack Overflow, the flagship site of Jeff Atwood and Joel Spolsky’s Stack Exchange Network, is a question-and-answer website for programmers and developers. It does, however, operate as a job platform for data scientists as well as engineers. It also lists job openings from startups and tech companies all over the world.

Indeed

Indeed is a subsidiary of Japan’s Recruit Co. Ltd. and is available in 60 countries and 28 languages. It was co-founded by Paul Forster and Rony Kahan in 2004. Indeed collects job postings from a variety of sources, including websites, job boards, staffing services, associations, and company career pages. It claims to be creating ten jobs per second around the world.

DataJobs

DataJobs, founded by Frank and Amy Lo, is a platform that allows firms to publish job openings and speeds big data hiring. It functions as a pure-play centre where data scientists may view job postings and apply to those that best suit their needs. DataJobs also includes positions for data analyst, analytics, Hadoop, and database administrator jobs, in addition to data scientist employment.
